We are developing a dashboard for a coal mining website as part of a student project for a hackathon. The dashboard should provide a comprehensive overview of key metrics related to coal mining operations, emissions, and sustainability efforts. It should include a header section with the project or company logo, a title like "Coal Mining Dashboard," and navigation links to sections such as Overview, Emissions Data, Carbon Credits, Project Stats, and Sustainability Tips. The main navigation bar should either be at the top (60-80 pixels in height) or on the left side (200-250 pixels in width). The dashboard should feature several widgets or sections: an Overview Widget for summary metrics like total emissions and reduction targets; an Emissions Data Widget with bar charts, line graphs, or pie charts showing detailed emissions data; a Carbon Credits Widget displaying progress bars or pie charts for credits earned and used; a Project Stats Widget with line charts or data tables for project-related statistics; and a Sustainability Tips Widget featuring icons or infographics. Each widget should be around 300-400 pixels wide and 200-300 pixels high, arranged in a grid layout or card format. The footer should include contact information and links to Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, or other relevant pages, with a height of 60-80 pixels. The design should be responsive, with a color scheme of light grey or white for the background, green shades for the primary color, and darker shades for accents. Fonts should be bold and larger for headings (24-36px) and readable for body text (14-16px). Interactive elements like buttons should be clear and contrasting, while charts and graphs should be interactive with hover details. For desktop size customization, aim for a resolution of 1440x900 pixels but ensure adaptability for other resolutions like 1920x1080 pixels. Implementation should use HTML/CSS for building and styling, JavaScript libraries like Chart.js or D3.js for interactive charts, and consider dashboard builders such as Google Data Studio or Tableau for complex visualizations.
