Hi I'm looking for a high level dashboard Idea that suits the needs of high level executives that want to have easy to use KPI's with the ability to drill down but only if desired. I want the initial landing page to be super clear and concise with minimal charts/clutter. Any thoughts?

Hi Josiah! For high-level executives, clarity and focus are everything. A strong dashboard idea would be a “Strategic Overview Dashboard” that includes just 4–6 of the most business-critical KPIs on the landing page—think metrics like Revenue, Profit Margin, Customer Retention, NPS, and Operational Efficiency. Each of these should be shown in a clean, high-contrast layout—no visual clutter, no unnecessary decoration. Design Approach: Use large KPI cards with trend indicators (up/down arrows or color-coded signals). Consider a one-screen layout with clear section headers: Financials, Customers, Operations. Keep visualizations minimal—like sparklines or bullet charts—only where they add value. Add a "View Details" button or small drill-down icon next to each KPI, so executives can dig deeper only when needed, maintaining the simplicity of the initial view. Feel free to take a look at our template section for inspiration: https://www.mokkup.ai/templates/ Also, on Mokkup, the ability to drill down from one screen to another—say from the Summary to Detail dashboards—is a feature currently in our pipeline. Once implemented, it will allow you to link dashboards through navigation buttons and create seamless multi-level reporting flows.
